My 3 tips for 2025

We're entering a new year and you might have new goals in mind.
But how can you ensure that you actually make progress toward those goals?

You might be thinking:
"THIS is the year"
"I will finally start doing X"
"It is time to take my dreams seriously"

No matter what your goal is, the goal for ME with THIS blog post is to push you in the right direction and share 3 valuable tips to help you work toward whatever you choose to strive for.

These 3 tips are practices I've implemented myself. They've helped me upgrade my mindset, create over 700 videos, work with big brands, and grow my YouTube channel to 18 200 subscribers.

There's a quote that goes, "Good things come to those who wait," but I couldn't disagree more. Good things come to those who intentionally and consistently take action toward their goal.

Another quote that I align with more is:
"The definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different result."

So without further ado, here are 3 tips I highly recommend following in 2025 if you're serious about your goals:

1️⃣ Be aware of your thoughts
Your thoughts lead to actions, and your actions shape your reality.
So if you want to change your life, start by becoming aware of what you think about and tell yourself daily.

Ask yourself:
- What negative thoughts do I need to eliminate?
- What "truths" do I keep repeating to myself?
- What limiting beliefs are holding me back?

I'm not asking you to avoid all negative or limiting thoughts because that is impossible. Instead, I encourage you to practice pausing your thoughts, stepping back, and observing your thoughts objectively. Decode what they mean and where they come from.

Often, we internally repeat beliefs that were passed down to us by others.
Parents, teachers, siblings, friends, colleagues...
They, in turn, inherited these beliefs from someone else.

Thoughts are like plants 🌱 in a garden, what you focus on will thrive, while what you ignore will wither.

If you keep telling yourself that you can't do something, you'll eventually believe it. But that's not the truth.

The truth is, you haven't done it YET because you're too afraid to try.

So, how do you REALLY know what's true?
And how do you REALLY know what's impossible?

Everything is impossible until it is done for the first time.
The way to find out is to try.

Let 2025 be the year where you challenge your thoughts and reach levels you didn't think was possible.

2️⃣ Create input-based habits
Setting goals and New Year's resolutions can help define your direction, but without breaking them down into habits, they aren't making any significant impact. A slow change is a lasting change.

It's not about what you say you'll do, it's about what you actually do.
Break down your goals into small, actionable daily steps that are so small that it feels ridiculous to not do them.

I've done this with my YouTube channel. I have developed a video format that helps me create tutorials in 6 hours. I've broken the process into smaller steps so that I know if I work just 1h per day on it, I can upload a new video to YouTube every week.
Thanks to this system, I've uploaded weekly videos for 3,5 years and gotten 5,7 million views.

That's 182 videos - or 1h per day.
Everything becomes possible when you break it down into manageable steps.

3️⃣ Establish a holistic approach to career growth
We're often told to just "work harder" or to "hustle" to achieve ambitious goals, but that's only one part of the equation.

What will consistently move you forward is endurance and that is achieved through a combination of improved skills + a valuable growing network + maintained health.

You won't succeed without improving your skills.
You won't move fast enough without leveraging a network, community, or audience.
You won't last if you don't take care of your health.

Consider these things when planning your weeks.

When (and how) are you pushing yourself to learn more?
Are you reading books, watching tutorials, joining webinars, or trying new tools or techniques?

Are you networking, collaborating, taking courses, working with a mentor, or joining a community with like-minded people?
(Things get easier when done together.)

What is your regular workout routine to maintain your health, increase your energy level and improve your focus?
(Exercise also helps you build mental resistance which is crucial for endurance.)

Conclusion
Nothing great is achieved overnight. It will be hard, it will be boring, it will be frustrating, but it will be worth it.

If you follow these 3 tips, I PROMISE you that you will move closer to your goal. How fast and how far depends on your input, your direction, your consistency, and your mental strength.

Because more than anything, your mentality is what might hold you back and stopp you from reaching your goal. It's not the complexity of your goal or physical or mental exhaustion, but your ability to trust yourself and avoid distractions along the way. That's the real challenge.

Work daily to build a bulletproof mind and you will get further than what you thought was possible!
