How to export a text in Adobe Premiere Pro
If you want to export your captions or subtitles in Adobe Premiere Pro, maybe to send it to a client or upload it to a YouTube video, you can do that pretty easily inside Premiere Pro.
How to export a text in Adobe Premiere Pro
After transcribing your video in the “Text” window, you have the text ready but not the timestamps, so then you want to go to “Actions” (inside that same window) and click “Create captions”.
This will take you to the “Captions”-tab inside the same window and here you can simply click “Actions”, “Export”, and “Export to SRT-file” and if you then open that file in a text editor, you can see the text and the timestamps for those captions.
That’s how easy it is!
If you want to learn how to import this SRT file again after you have edited the text, I have done a separate tutorial about that here.
